New Admin Support Service for SIRCS Partnerships
There is no substitute for a local scheme administrator, but for some partnerships administration of their scheme can be a problem, lack of funding for a full time post, holiday cover and unexpected sickness etc.
Following feedback from some new SIRCS members the Empowering-Communities Team have expanded their administration support service. As an organisation we already administer the gaming industries National Crime Reduction Scheme that deals mainly with cross border crime and is accessed by police forces throughout the UK included including SOCA. This is in addition to administering the Norfolk Nightsafe scheme, COLBAC, BASBAC, LOWBAC, Bowthorpe & Costessey, Norwich City Centre and Breckland, the National Gambling Self Exclusion and Alcohol Self Exclusion Schemes.
Our administration service is charged from £15 per hour
Partnerships can't always plan for the unexpected but we can help cover holidays, sickness or just as a back up at certain times of the year.
This back up service enables partnerships to use us as short term cover whenever the need arises.
We pride ourselves on the close working relationship we have with the administrators and partnerships that use SIRCS and we see this additional service as a way of us strengthening this relationship.
What can we do?
The list is endless we can work closely with a partnership to ensure the smooth running and sustainability of their scheme. The more common tasks we perform are:
- Signing up new members
- Updating membership records
- Uploading images and reports
- Processing exclusion and banning orders
- Collating information
- Preparing and sending out electronic intelligence briefings
- Liaising with police officers and in the case of cross border crime putting police officers from different areas in touch with one another.
